Joshua Meeks- Guitar Instructor
Music has been a part of my life from the age of six, when I started piano lessons. I switched to guitar a few years later, and have been playing it ever since. I hold a Bachelor's of Music Education degree from University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
In college I studied guitar, music theory, and composition, with an emphasis on classical guitar. I have been currently teaching for around four years in the Charlotte area. I also have played guitar and trumpet in several local bands, and am currently working on a new project with some long-time friends.
I am deeply involved within the local music scene helping young local musicians find places to share their talents with the community. Lessons are available for all skill levels ranging from beginners to advanced students.
Lessons in music theory, improvisation, and composition are also available along with instruction in finger-style guitar, rock guitar, classical guitar, and many more methods. Lessons are offered mainly on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.
